Fred Ohebshalom, CEO and Founder
Fred Ohebshalom is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Empire Management. Fred formed Empire Management in 1975 and today the company includes over 100 professionals. In his position as CEO, he is responsible for the overall management of the firm, and the pursuit of financing activities across all business platforms.
Fred is renowned for his exceptional investment and management strategies.
Fred earned his Bachelor of Business Administration at Pace University, and is an alumnus of the New York University's School of Professional Studies.
Alexander Ohebshalom, Principal
Alex is a Principal at Empire Management where he is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operational, corporate and business functions of the company as well as the company's development and acquisition activities.
Alex has extensive construction experience in New York City, having supervised and completed roughly one million square feet of best-in-class residential, retail, and hospitality properties. Among his completed projects is the 275-key Hilton Garden Inn at 45 East 33rd Street, which he supervised with The Rinaldi Group. He was instrumental in the development of Empire's luxury rental project "The Greywood" at 3 W 36th Street, as well as the "Brooklyn Warehouse" project in DUMBO at 180 Nassau Street.
Among his other affiliations are the American Real Estate and Urban Economics Association, and the Urban Land Institute.
Alex graduated from Harvard Business School and received his BBA in Real Estate Development from the Zicklin School of Business.
